NDT Group at the 2025 International Pipeline Congress (Congreso Internacional de Ductos)

Veracruz, Mexico – November 2025

NDT Group participated in the Congreso Internacional de Ductos, Edición 2025 (International Pipeline Congress), showcasing advanced inspection technologies and engaging with industry leaders focused on pipeline integrity and innovation.

Live Technology Demonstrations

At Booths 10 and 11, our engineering team presented live demonstrations of:

  • Laser Scanning

  • Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT)

  • Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS)

Attendees experienced these tools firsthand and learned how they improve accuracy and efficiency during pipeline inspections.

Technical Presentation: Emerging NDT Technologies for Pipeline Optimization

A highlight of the congress was a technical session delivered by Luis Velandia, titled:

“Emerging Technologies for NDT: New Technologies and Applications for the Optimization of Pipeline NDT.”

The presentation introduced several cutting-edge tools and methods:

  • CUPS PA-CAT for advanced crack detection and characterization

  • PLX Portable for mechanical property assessment directly in the field

  • FlexoForm elbow scanner for rapid inspections of elbows and complex geometries

  • Phased Array & TOFD crack sizing for high-accuracy defect evaluation

Luis emphasized how these solutions are elevating pipeline inspection standards by offering faster, more reliable, and more comprehensive data for integrity management.

Leadership Presence

NDT Group’s presidents were active throughout the congress, meeting with clients, supporting demonstrations, and strengthening relationships across the pipeline sector.
